Dr. Genia's Biography
Dr. Efigenia "Genia" Dominguez is no novice to pain relief.
With years of training at pain clinics throughout the bay area, Dr. Genia comprehends the importance of employing a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of pain and disease prevention.
Dr. Dominguez served as Department head chiropractor and rehabilitation director at Ariba Health Care Group, a fast-growing multidisciplinary pain clinic under the direction of a medical pain specialist in conjunction with a physical therapist, acupuncturist, licensed mental health professionals and message therapists.
Dr. Genia (as her patients customarily refer to her) holds a post graduate certificate as a state appointed qualified medical evaluator and is an independent disability evaluator for the State of California.
Dr. Dominguez takes pride in serving the injured worker and on her off time, enjoys writing medical legal reports and enriches herself with current worker's compensation topics.
She now is in private practice in San Francisco and San Mateo .
Dr. Dominguez, a native of san Francisco served her community directly out of college as a high school science teacher prior to beginning the calling of chiropractic. Dr. Dominguez holds two bachelor degrees, one in biology the other in psychology in addition to her doctorate in chiropractic medicine. As such, Dr. Dominguez has the eloquent character of conveying to the patient exactly what is happening physically as well as philosophically.
Dr. Dominguez speaks Spanish fluently and has provided services to the Latino community in San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland. Not coincidentally is she well known throughout the latino community as the quiropractica de los hispanos.
